Rousseau’s Landing
Located On Sandbar Lake
Near Ignace, ON

The camp is approx. 10 acres Hwy access road is approx. 1 km.

Camp has 3 roads throughout.

2 boat docks (4-20×8 =80ft) with 3 16ft slips & 1- 48 ft.

2 boat launches – small beach area away from the launches.

A large fish cleaning house with water & a walk in freezer. The Fish cleaning table was rebuilt in June 2022.

Most cabins have electric heat – others have plug in fire places or
heaters.  All cabins come fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, toaster and all dishes/pots and pans. All cabins have bedding. Plus enough to do a full flip if necessary – Extra blankets/sheets/pillows etc.

Most cabins have decks facing the lake. All have BBQ’s, picnic tables & fire pits.

12 of the 14 cabins including the lodge have new roofs.

There is a small building which houses the ice freezers (bagged cubed
ice) and the other side holds the 2 stroke motors which are rented for
guests who go to the cached lakes (They take a motor & gas)

25 campsites of which 20 are seasonal campers the campground has 5
well maintained Hard wall plastic outhouses.

There is a wood shed which houses the split wood for guests to
purchase.

The camp is surrounded by the Provincial Park so there will not be any
logging or sale of land on the perimeters.

There are 2 Bull Moose tags & 1 cow tag available each year to sell.

There are 5 Bear Management Areas (BMA) covers hundreds of
hectares.

There are a total of 41 boats (some are cached at lakes)
Attached is a list of those lakes. The camp has the only commercial boat cache on Kukukus Lake.

The water is from a well – the pump & pressure tank were replaced in
2021.  The camp passed an Environmental Assessment in 2021: No Issues at all.

The main lodge has a foyer/library – large 43 seat dining room, small
store, large kitchen with 2 bedrooms and a full bath plus a half bath
upstairs.

Downstairs in the lodge: 3 suites which include 2 doubles/queen beds,
side tables, small fridges & full bathrooms. An additional room similar
to the suites is used for storage.

The laundry is in the lodge basement as well. One large room for
storage of linens/blankets/cleaning supplies.  Two washers & dryers and an additional bathroom.

The extremely large 3 tiered deck attached to the back of the lodge
faces the lake and is used for many events or just a beautiful place for
guests to gather and spend time.

All lakes EXCEPT Kukukus & Sandbar require you to transport the motor and gas. You will need to take a paddle, plug and boat cushions as well. 
Boat kit will be supplied as well. Ontario Law requires a boat kit and life
jackets for all boaters.
