North Caribou Camps
Located On Cemetery Island
In The Center of North Caribou Lake In Northwestern Ontario

One of Northwestern Ontario’s greatest hidden treasures! North Caribou Camps is located on pristine North Caribou Lake, arguably the top Walleye and Northern Pike fishery in all of Ontario. Surrounded by untouched wilderness, the lake spans over 82,000 acres with no road access.

Located on Cemetery Island in the center of the lake, this fully operational resort overlooks crystal clear water and a beautiful beach that covers the entire shore front.

The main camp comfortably hosts groups of up to 14 and consists of a large central cooking house/dining room, 3 separate 2 bedroom sleeping cabins, and a central washroom building with 2 fully modern 3 piece bathrooms. Additional structures include a staff cabin for camp attendant/s and supply storage, as well as a fish cleaning house and tool shed.

Further down the beach and separated from the main camp is a 3 bedroom cabin with a bathroom and kitchen for groups of up to 6. The cabin has its own fish house and water system. Both camps are powered by a combination of solar, propane appliances, and small 4 stroke generators. A cell booster provides service in the main building, and there is a Starlink system for wifi.

There are 8 well maintained 16ft Lund boats with floors, pedestal seats, livewells, etc. The outboard motors are 25hp, a mixture of Etec and Yamaha with several spares.

North Caribou Camps also comes with over a dozen outfitter moose tags for the area.

This much-loved business has been family owned and operated for over 20 years, with the owners looking to retire. The camp has a dedicated clientele and boasts an 80% return rate, many groups have been returning for over 20 years! The camp is fully booked for the coming season, with a waiting list for available spots. North Caribou Camps is great as an individual operation, or as an addition to a current outfitter’s business portfolio.
