Welcome to Five Mile Lake Lodge

Five Mile Lake Lodge which is a drive-in property sits on a little over 6 acres along the beautiful shores of Five Mile Lake. With nearly 800 feet of shoreline the views are fantastic from wherever you are situated.

Five Mile Lake is quite well known for its excellent walleye fishing and has a nice population of pike and smallmouth bass as well. Many back-lakes in the area provide additional fishing opportunities. Our BMA (bear management area) is quite large, over 400 square kilometers and are set up with tree stands and/or ground blinds. The camp is also provided one adult bull moose tag along with one calf tag and we sit in WMU 35 with WMU 38 right across Highway 129.

Our main two story lodge is approximately 2400 square feet. The upper floor is the owners living quarters and consists of a nice size living room, dining room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms and a full size bathroom. Large windows are abundant throughout the upper level with fantastic views overlooking the property and the lake. Also on the upper level is a brand new 12 x 14 foot screened in patio which provides an excellent place to relax and enjoy the views and fresh air.

The lower level consists of a check-in area with small store for souvenirs, ice, tackle and bait. There is a sitting area as well along with a laundry room, and a couple of storage rooms.

We have 5 cottages, two 3 bedroom and three 2 bedroom which are fully equipped with all pots, pans, dishes and utensils. All cottages have indoor bathrooms, full size refrigerators, propane heaters, stoves and hot water tanks. Large decks provide a nice place to relax.

There are numerous outbuildings located throughout our property. A boathouse near the lake. A storage room near the middle of our property. A large two story garage and workshop located at the back of our property that is split into two lower sections as well as an upper loft area that provides additional storage space. There is also a generator room and an inverter room which supplies power to the camp. A solar panel system sits on top of a couple of our buildings to assist is providing power
and keeping generator run time to a bare minimum. We also have a screened in fish cleaning hut which has electric and water supplied for the guest’s convenience. There is a new 8 x 16 woodshed as well. Also at the rear of our property is a 20 foot steel cargo container that is used for additional storage. A 1000 gallon double walled gas tank as well as a 1000 gallon diesel tank is provided.

The property also consists of an 8 site campground that has not been used in quite a few years. It is a very nice and scenic parcel of property that sits directly on the lake. A shower house and outhouse is located in the nearby area for camping guests. You can revive the campground if you like for tenters and RV’ers or it would be a great place to add an additional cabin or two for expansion.

There are 2 floating dock systems which are very new and can accommodate 12 – 14 boats depending on size.

There are 2 internet satellite systems to keep you in communication.

We have an extensive list of chattels pertinent to running a resource tourism based business and will be provided to interested buyers. Repeat clientele is essential to every business and we will provide the extensive list of our guests who come for both fishing and hunting opportunities upon sale of the business.
