On West Jackfish Lake
Located In Northwestern Ontario Near Devlin, Fort Frances
& International Falls, Minnesota

Located in Northwestern Ontario. 28km north of Devlin, Ontario on Hwy 613N, just 40km from the Fort Frances, Ontario/International Falls, Minnesota border.

You will arrive at Lake Despair boat launch. From there you will access a chain of lakes starting with Lake Despair, Footprint lake, then Jackfish lake where the outpost cabins are located in the West Jackfish Lake. These outpost cabins sit approximately 3km apart from each other.

Red Cabin

Located on beautiful West Jackfish Beach, one of the only beaches on this end of the lake. This Cabin sleeps 8 people with four bunks available. Tin roofs installed in 2010 , newer 12×16 shed built 2015, and newer 30’ floater dock and crib in 2016. Equipped with propane fridges and stove, battery operated lighting (charged by generator) and wood burning stove heat for those cool fall nights or winter stays.

Brown Cabin

Located on West Jackfish Lake on the portage into Ottertail lake, separated by a scenic slow moving creek in front of the cabin. This cabin sleep 4 people with two bunks available. Tin roof installed in 2010, and a new 20’ floater in 2022. This cabin also has propane fridge and stove, battery lighting, and a wood burning stove.

Both locations are on LUPs (land use permits) and are to be purchased as commercial outpost cabins (not private cabins). Both great locations on some great fisheries and are ready to make new memories with friends, family and clientele.
